When to wear a postpartum belt?
A postpartum belt should generally be worn for the first 6-8 weeks following childbirth. Wear the belt for a few hours each day and take out at night to help your body recover from childbirth. Be sure to remove it periodically to give your skin a break, allow your blood to circulate better and let your belly muscles train on their own. The belt can be worn during activities such as walking, lifting, and bending to provide additional abdominal support. It is important to consult with a doctor prior to wearing a postpartum belt.
